Before becoming an accomplished PR Director, Lisa applied her writing talent and love of literature to her work as an English teacher at Moon Valley High School. After five rewarding years inspiring and guiding young minds, she returned to school to earn her master’s degree in preparation for a fateful career change.
Doing a brief stint as a PR intern for a party planning business, she quickly landed a position at Knoodle, an Arizona advertising and public relations firm with clients that included Fulton Homes, Prestige Dry Cleaners, and Cypress Home Care Solutions. As a PR professional, Lisa wrote press releases, brainstormed PR initiatives, and wrote bylined articles for national magazines. A signature achievement was delivering all PR and media coverage for the inaugural Chinese Lantern Festival, the first of its kind Chinese New Year celebration in Arizona.
Coming to Anderson Advertising in 2014, Lisa performed similarly spectacular feats for diverse clients ever since. Some highlights include bringing a month-long car seat safety campaign to fruition for Larry H. Miller Dealerships with the aid of Safe Kids Corp., helping to orchestrate the grand opening of Dave & Buster’s at Westgate, and handling the all facets of publicity and marketing for the ‘Glam for the Girls Event’ at San Tan Village supporting breast cancer. Her clients include Blue Wasabi Sushi & Martini Bar, Barrio Queen, BounceU, Desert Schools Federal Credit Union and the Phoenix Children’s Hospital Foundation among others.
A lifelong athlete and sports enthusiast, Lisa has played softball, volleyball, and basketball since she was a child. Born in New York and raised in Arizona, she’s a Mets and NY Giants fan, as well as a Phoenix Suns and Mercury supporter. She is a devoted ally and advocate for the local LGBT community and enjoys traveling, concerts, movies, going to the beach and taking Giavonna, her young daughter, to Disneyland.
